Meet our 144″ Mercedes Sprinter van conversion, Sunny!
There are a lot of van life items in the world today and we’ve tested a bunch of them. Here are the critical few we enjoy most, believe in, and use ourselves in our 144″ Sprinter van conversion.
The Sprinter 144″ wheelbase is the smallest of the Mercedes Sprinter vans at 19.5 feet long bumper to bumper, and 10.5 feet of interior length from behind the driver’s seat to the back doors. The Interior height for the high roof is 6’4″ and the maximum width is 95.5 inches.
Our specific Mercedes Sprinter van conversion is the 2019 4×4 model in a beautiful dark gray color. We’ve decked it out with some cool gear to give it the perfect balance of pretty home esthetics + rugged durability ready for adventure! Inside your find products like an electric AC unit, diesel air heater, induction cooktop stove, hot water heater, queen size bed, shower + toilet wet room, and fully functional dining/work space.
For style we’re going with a blend of black and white paints and finishings to keep with a minimalist aesthetic while also incorporating natural woods to give it a natural, rugged feel. All products used in the van were chosen for a long life of adventure through mud, rain, mountains, deserts, and even major cities. This 144″ Sprinter van conversion was designed to take us wherever adventure is calling us from one day to the next.
This is our second Mercedes Sprinter van conversion. Our first van was a 2018 Mercedes 170″ EXT Sprinter in white. While we loved our first van, we decided to go even smaller and design a more all-season all-terrain van perfect for full or part time van life.
